Why does she love him unconditionally?
Was it the way he had smiled at her so sweetly?
Or is it the way he always made her heart skip a beat?
Whatever the reason was, she still loves him completely.
Perhaps it’s the way he listens to her stories,
Or how he wipes away her tears when she’s feeling lowly,
Or maybe it’s the way he embraces her tightly,
And assures her that everything will be alright, nightly.
She loves him for the way he makes her laugh,
And for the way he calms her down when she’s had a rough day.
She loves him for the way he supports her goals,
And the way he helps her see things in a new way.
She loves him for the way he looks at her,
As if she’s the most precious possession in the world.
And for the way he encourages her to be her best,
And supports her through every up and down, every twirl.
She loves him for the way he loves her,
For the way he accepts her, with all her flaws and all her virtues.
For the way he makes her feel, so safe and so secure,
And for the way he holds her close, never letting her go.
In him, she’s found a kindred spirit,
A soul mate, a partner for life.
And in his love, she’s found a home,
Where she can be herself, free of all strife.
So why does she still love him unconditionally?
It’s simply because he’s her other half,
The missing piece that makes her whole,
And the love they share, a true epitome of love, that will forever last….
