Life is a journey……

Life is a journey, I've heard many of them say,
With no clear, predefined path to follow,
No virtual maps to guide us for our way.
No final destination, that we can thus borrow ..

We wander through this unknown world of ours,
With a sense of purpose and drive.
Hoping to make a visible difference,
Hoping to leave behind our mark,till we're alive. 

We start our journey with sheer innocence,
With a childlike sense of wonder.
Eager to explore and learn with fun,
To make the most of our queries,and vivid thoughts to ponder.

As we grow in age, we thus begin to see.
The twists and turns that life can take.
The road can unusually be rough and wobbly,
But we must never waiver off or even think to forsake.

We face challenges, obstacles and dead- ends on our way,
Whereby we may stumble or slip and fall,
But it's in these moments of testing adversities,
That we gather the strength to get up and stand tall.

We meet wonderful people along the way
Whose presence may inspire us to grow.
Others, perhaps leave us with some valuable lessons,
Thus illuminating our path, with a ray of light at tunnel's end to show....  

We journey through varied colours of the seasons,
Traverse through the highs and lows of life .
Embracing all the unprecedented changes,
Even the ones that bring us strife. 

Thus, we begin to learn, laugh and cry,
To cherish every moment that we're given.
To live life to the fullest too,
And to make the most of our every living. 

For life is a journey, they always say,
Offcourse with no clear destination in sight.
But if we trust and embrace every passing moment,
We'll make the most of it and soar the highest of our life's flight.

So let us journey on, with a soulful purpose in mind,
Perhaps with hope and love being our only guide.
In the process, let us cherish every step we take,
Indeed..... Life is a journey, hence let's simply enjoy and wilfully abide.
